Why Organic Food is a Must

There is a hidden secret to conventional foods that I'll share with you now if you haven't already heard. Conventional foods are sprayed with harsh chemicals and herbicides to detour bugs and other pests. These chemicals cannot completely be washed away with water, as these chemicals leech into the foods and become part of it. When you consume conventional foods, your body will have to stop some other important processes to rid your body of the traces of toxic chemicals in the foods. Organic foods, on the other hand, are usually kept bug free through natural bug and pest "traps". This can include planting other plants around organic crops that pests cannot stand.

There are many people who do not realize the importance of organic food. Many of them are simply concerned about the cost. To better explain this, I will give you this metaphor: A human is a car. Stick with me. When it comes to filling up your gas tank, do you fill it with proper fuel or do you fill it up with cheap junk. Now let me ask you this: When it comes to filling up your body, do you fill it with proper fuel (health food) or do you fill it up with cheap junk (fast food)? The cost should not matter, and the solution is simple: treat your body like you treat your car and it will run better.

As an added bonus, organic produce contains as much as 40 percent more beneficial minerals and antioxidants, according to a recent study in the UK.
